Anna Boon, MBA

Anna brings over 17 years of deep experience in management consulting, both in the large firm setting and in the work she’s done leading her own practice since 2018.

Anna finds joy every day in partnering with amazing clients, doing meaningful work, and enabling her clients to succeed. She loves “leaving things better than she found them” and is passionate about driving lasting change that delivers results long after her consulting engagements end.

She lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and two daughters and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from Lipscomb University (class of 2011).       


Examples of Client Work

  • Core Business Function Transformation: Led client through a 12-month initiative to drive the transformation of a core business function including definition of and alignment to the future-state strategy, development of the organizational model and key roles required, and the procurement of an AI technology platform to capture highly accurate data for strategic decision making.

  • Organizational Strategy: Created a 3-year strategy to project resource needs and skillset requirements based on growth based on organic and strategic growth projections for the business. Applied strategy to inform 3-year projections for a team of over 8,000 distributed across three international geographies.

  • Salesforce Optimization Strategy: Developed multi-faceted strategy to stand up sales support function including key role definition, territory mapping and prioritization model, and sales performance targets. Led definition of strategic targets based on external benchmarking and historical performance. Developed team model, headcount projections, and top-performer best practices.

  • Operating Model and Leadership Development: Worked with executives to define the operating model for the core operations function of a multi-billion-dollar organization. Aligned executives to the system through alignment-based activities, defined roles and responsibilities, and identified required leadership skills to grow key functional areas. Defined required individual and team-based competencies needed for the team to take on added scope and responsibilities.

  • Retail Optimization Strategy: Evaluated the probability of success for over 500 retail stores and created standardized strategic methodologies for determining where and how to invest in high potential stores, and how to best divest of low growth and low opportunity stores.

  • Competency Modeling:Led multi-faceted initiative to define and build out role-based competencies at multiple role-levels for key areas of the business including process improvement, reporting and analytics, training and development, internal coaching, and sales enablement.
